Eating Out Ilfracombe

Wine Glasses

Ilfracombe really is the food-capital of North Devon with a number of fine-dining restaurants, bistros, café bars and tea rooms, many of which have alfresco dining giving it a Continental feel.

We have an excellent selection of fine-dining restaurants and trendy café bars within just a few minutes walk from The Collingdale; serving everything from freshly caught fish and seafood, meat supplied from local farmers with traditional English dishes, Spanish tapas, Italian, Chinese or Indian and good old-fashioned Fish & Chips.

We have sampled all of these, so if you would like help choosing where to eat then do please ask.   Here is a selection of those on offer - CLICK on Name of Restaurant to check their menus

My partner and I had a fantastic week long stay. Sharon and Daryl were so welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout. Sharon knows the area very well and gave great recommendations for places and restaurants to visit which made our trip even more enjoyable. The guest house itself is spotless and so well cared for. We especially loved the little touches in the room such as fresh water each day, as well as tea/ coffee and biscuits. We stayed in the superior room which we would highly recommend as it had a balcony that looked onto the beautiful harbour. Breakfast each day was absolutely delicious, we would go as far as saying it’s the best we have ever had whilst staying away. A wonderful place to stay in Ilfracombe. We can’t wait to go back!

"Ideal location with sensational views. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Information of local
interest pointed out as soon as we arrived - so that it gave us time to plan ahead. The breakfast was amazing - the best we have had for a very long time."

Spotlessly clean & stylish. Absolutely great breakfast with simply stunning views. To us it was home away from home. Given the opportunity we will be back!.”
