Lounge
Come and relax in our comfortable lounge which is tastefully furnished with leather settees, making it the ideal spot to sit and enjoy the spectacular sea views over the harbour and Hillsborough Nature Reserve. There are a wealth of board games and puzzles for you to enjoy or just sit and read or watch TV.

Dining Room
Our spacious dining room which leads to the sun terrace also has wonderful sea views. Our delicious home cooked cuisine is freshly prepared each day using locally sourced produce wherever possible and will satisfy the heartiest of appetites. We also have a varied and reasonably priced wine list to choose from.

Bar
Relax in our cosy bar and enjoy an aperitif or a night-cap. We have an excellent selection of beers, wines and spirits including malt whiskeys and fine brandies available. You can also take advantage of our free Wi-Fi access in the lounge and bar area.

Bedrooms

We have nine guest bedrooms at The Collingdale, six of which have stunning views over the harbour and the Nature Reserve, with three overlooking the front of the house and the wooded area beyond.

All are beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard with deep comfortable mattresses for a good night’s sleep, flat-screen TV with Freeview, WIFI access in most rooms, plus a well-stocked beverage tray, complimentary toiletries and mineral water, big fluffy white bath towels and lots of thoughtful little extras!

Please note that due to The Collingdale being built in the Victorian era, with our accommodation spread over several floors, we may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Rooms 1 to 3 are on the first floor, rooms 4 to 6 on the second floor and rooms 7 to 9 on the third floor. If you would prefer a room on a lower floor please advise at the time of booking.

Room 1
A beautifully furnished room overlooking the front of the property and the wooded area beyond. This room is fully ensuite with shower, basin & WC and has a double bed and up to two single beds and can be used as a double or twin and is also suitable for two adults and up to two children for use as a family room.  

Room 2
King-size bedded room with stunning sea views over the harbour and hillside. This room has many original Victorian features with its marble fireplace, original coving and floor to ceiling sash windows.  It is fully en-suite with shower, basin & WC and can also be converted to a twin room for longer stays if required.

Room 3
A brightly decorated double room with stunning sea views from its floor to ceiling sash window overlooking the harbour and hillside. This room has a shower and counter-top wash basin en-suite with a private toilet on the landing for those who prefer to have separate facilities.

Room 4
A beautifully furnished room overlooking the front of the property and the wooded area beyond. This room is fully ensuite with shower, basin & WC and has a double bed and up to two single beds and can be used as a double or twin and is also suitable for two adults and up to two children for use as a family room.  

Room 5
A brightly decorated king-size bedded room with stunning sea views. This room can also be converted to twin beds for longer stays if required and has full en-suite facilities of shower, basin & WC.

Room 6
A bright room, again with sea views and a double bed offering full en-suite facilities of shower, basin & WC.

Room 7
A bedroom with vaulted ceilings at the top of the guest house overlooking the front of the building and the wooded area beyond. This has full en-suite facilities of shower, basin & WC and comprises of a double bed and one single bed for use as double or twin and is suitable for two adults and up to one child as a family room.

Room 8
A king-size / twin bedded room at the top of the building with vaulted ceilings, commanding the best views of the harbour, sea and hillside making this a popular room. Full en-suite facilities of shower, basin & WC.

Room 9
A double bedded room at the top of the guest house with vaulted ceilings. This double room commands the same stunning views as room 8 and enjoys full en-suite facilities of shower, basin & WC.
